Cats and their pyjamas

The question of status in the feline world

The question of the cats pyjamas has two aspects. 1) does the clothing of the cat in pyjamas imply that they have the very human shamefulness of their nakedness? Of course that opens the question, do humans simply project that emotion onto their cat companies? or 2) is the act of wearing pyjamas simply another act of protection from the cold, similar to shelters or season migration?

For more information about the status of this debate, I recommend reading this book By John Grey, professor of European thought in LSE

What a wonderful cat.
